While visiting in Toronto in January I had to go to the emergency room. I was diagnosed as having a TIA. I sent all the pertinent information along with a claim form to you. On my policy It clearly stated that I had coverage for emergencies outside the U S, but you responded by saying my claim was denied as you did not think my emergency room visit was medically necessary.
What is not “medically necessary” about a mini stroke, which is what a TIA is? The total cost to me was $2149.90. If my claim is not paid I will be forced to pursue the matter in court.
